I wouldnt call it that. It may be great, I really don't know. JPIII didn't "suck" it was the third best.

I never looked at it that way. You've brought a new light to my eyes.

The first was his best and he just wasn't making anymore as good as that one. Now, they have done the right thing by getting someone new, someone fresh and someone that will hopefully bring the Jurassic Park world back to life and much better than the last two.

-James "Hurmoth" Wimmer

I'd leave Crichton outta this. He wrote a book that sPielberg turned into a movie, and because the fans loved it so much, a sequel. But the cinematic sequel was going in a different direction than the novel, so whe JP3 came along he just said, "F*ck it. Let them do their crap, and let me do mine. As long as I get royalties, we're all cool."

Whereas sPeilberg figured, "Ya know I really love this franchise, but there's still so much I wanna do, and not enough time to finish these... I got it! I'll just produce them and leave the rest to a competent director! Or Joe Johnston! Whoever's cheaper... That way, I'll be able to give the fans films they love that I'm just not insPired enough to do myself"

And that's how I see it, more or less...

Scudworth: I first got the idea for Cloney Island after seeing the movie Jurassic Park 3! But my ill-concieved amusement park will be filled with human clones instead of zoo animals! It's as fool-proof as the amusement park in the movie it's self!

Hey all,

I read somewhere that in preparing for the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park Franchise, Steven and his team (may include Crichton) are working on a story which in a way will be better, or as good as the first. So with that Steven may get story credit and who is scripting will be credited under that.

I know Speilberg is a good filmmaker and I know he wouldn't roll out crap after the some what disappointment of the third. They will find a way, some way, to finish of this ...four part trilogy...?!

By the way, I liked the third, it was very intense, right up to the stunning climax!...?!! ???
It's my first post, ever!

Well, for a faulty and misleading title, this post surely had everything that's known by any true JP fan and that's been on every Jurassic Park site since last month. Welcome aboard.

Still, I say we can look forwards to JP4 (I really hope that's not going to be the title.)

Shallow, yet insightful.

Seeing how the films decreased in a hundred million with each release, why a fourth?
