He all (ya im a noob great huh?) she rocks! I love the animation involved and the weather effects. The missions leave a bit to be desired, they photo is new and interesting but not executed as well as it could be. Site B! Its amazing, imagine the possobilites with all the dinos! Check the dinopedia and ir will show all the dinosaurs in the whole OG!

Whoa whoa and whoa!!!! Jeez this is great! The graphics are top notch (although the aliasing is a problem, but not a major problem) the sounds are absolutely superb. Have you had a hurricane yet!!!! It is stunning! It picked up 4 of my grazing Triceratops and dumped them on the other side of the island (albeit dead).

Its great how you can view everything from almost any angle as well. The AI is top notch. Not all confrontations between 2 Trex's end in a fight, sometimes whichever growls the loudest scares the other one away! If you introduce a Trex to a herd of Galliminus the Galliminus will 'flock' for their lives. Not all in the same direction, most flock together but one or two will stray from the pack and become lost (and often eaten).

Some bad points with the demo/game. When the dinosaurs do try and nibble each other you can clearly see that they miss, but blood still appears and the dinosaur is wounded. It's not a major error and it doesn't really make a difference. Also there was some slowdown with heaps of dinosaurs on the screen (50+) and a thunderstorm in full swing. Also I wish there was another carnivor. And Blue Tongue ripped us off in this demo! In the missions there are many dinosaurs but they only provide 3 in Site B! And you STILL can't use the Park Builder mode yet!

Oh well, the demo is still incredible, and the game will be even more incredible.

Hmm, its weird Jon, you mention you have a 1.6 ghz chip. I have a 1.1 ghz and it runs great on 800x600 16 bit colour. You oughta try lowering the resolution. In a game like this the change of res doesn't make a lot of difference graphics wise, but it makes a BIG effect on performance, a good one.

Well .. OPGenesis, youre right. This is a beta, which is the same build that's been sent to sites and magazines for preveiwing. But ohwell, maybe the official demo will be even better.

I'm installing the demo right now. So, I'll post again once I've played the demo through and trhough.

I've been playing around with the code. I can enable othr buildings, but they wont build! Also, in the turorial you can do a bunch more stuff if you dont follow the commands. When arnold asks you to open the map. Don't, you can look around and changesome of the store options. You can buy Jp Yos at the store and stuff. Also, to get it to build you can change the mission file. Theres alot o neat stuff. Im workin on trying to get more dinos into site B.

After playing the demo, I can say that I'm impressed. Over-all, it's going to be a fun game, there are some cons, and some annoyances, but they shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Well, there's two possibilities: That this is a leaked beta which was given to several sites for preveiwing, or that this is the official demo, yet it's been obtained by someone without bluetongue knowing, and posted.

Lol, I'm sure you've all seen a trike kill a rex, or vice versa, but have you seen some of the scripted animations? One of them has the trike coming at the rex from head on, the rex puts it's foot on the trikes head to block it, but the trike stabs the rex in the belly, killing it. Pretty damn cool, but there's a second one, with the same thing, yet the rex succeeds in pushing the trike away with it's foot, and then bites it.

No, haven't seen those. They sound excellent, though.

My guess would be they uploaded it and just haven't gotten around to posting it yet, or haven't received clearance from Blue Tongue or something.
