I don't think dorm life is for me. I'm engaged, I have my cat with me and I'm already living on my own pretty much. No way I could live in a dorm. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

You know, I must add my opinion into this. If you are a nerd and deeply enjoy your personal space, then run, do NOT walk, away from dorm life. Find an apartment. Find a two bedroom near campus and find a roommate. Only share the kitchen. It's good. Seriosuly.
Roommates do suck, depending on how they are. Currently, I'm in dislike of mine. Meh. It could be worse. Moving anyway.
However, I think I would live in a dorm if I had one available. Everyone should go to a tech school that doesn't provide dorms. They provide real-life...stuffs? Or something. They also turn your brain to crap. Meh.

Eh...screw a dorm. I prefer to not have my friends living with me. If anything, it's a lot more likely that you'll eventually hate the friend even though you may have originally thought it possible to get along based on prior experiences. Unless you get lucky, find a really cool person, and you're a people person, chances are you'll be getting on each others nerves at some point. I'm actually happier with my privacy and personal space. If I want friends around, I can just call them, and I seem to make new friends just fine despite not being much of a people person.
