I'll admit to being a geek, but i'll vehemently deny being a nerd.

nerd:
A person who is single-minded or accomplished in scientific or technical pursuits but is felt to be socially inept.

geek:
a person with an unusual or odd personality

Sides I'm actually quite popular with the ladies.

Everyone I've ever dated was a geek or nerd and I wouldn't have it any other way. Yes, sometimes their social ineptitude makes me want to crack their skulls open, and sometimes the hubris of some nerds can really be annoying (often the automatic assumption that I know less than they do), but it's really refreshing to be able to play video games and talk about silly geeky sh*t with a boyfriend instead of boring him with talk of clothes or something equally mundane because we have nothing better to talk about.

However, the minute a guy starts reciting every line from a film while we're watching it, his ass is getting kicked out. That crap does not fly with me, sir. If you're going to interrupt a movie, let it be for s**, not you being an annoying know-it-all prick.

So you'd rather a guy start humping you than have him say, "Here's looking at you, Kid?"

"Do you have a flag?"
