No one even knows who Dodgson is, except die-hard fans. I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of seeing returning characters used as a crutch for a dying franchise, especially when they have no incentive to return.A cameo or two would be fine, just as long as they don't try to have a JP reunion.

still a reunion would be a great way to wrap it up....

but they would need a really good reason...and of course they wouldn't be the only people there....

Dodgson would bring BioSyn...which would make things a little interesting...

Yeah I just think Dodgson should be emphasized in this one! I think that there should Be dinos in Costa rica.. Well The Costa Rican gov along with Alan Grant or some other Dino specialist should go in and try to round them up! Dodgson has now aranged for groups to Find the dinos on sorna and Costa Rica.. But sorna is hevily Garded By the Costarican Gov w/ backing from U.S... I think dodgson is just totaly posessed with making it work But he will end up making mistakes that hammond never dreamed of... Im still Brain stormin But I would Like to See Biosyn in there and talk about a problem in Costa rica

No more old characters. They only ruin it, just like they have already done(JP3).

Yes, he was the most believable character but his presense in the mission made it a bit more unrealistic.

No harm meant with anything said about him, though.

sry i tried not to sound aggressive, but anyway

how did he make it unrealistic? was it because of his reason for going?

i guess there could've been a better reason...but just think about if he wasn't there

picture all those new characters running around on that island without Grant...

or replace him with someone else like...well, like some famous person there to sell the movie posing as a dinosaur expert..

As far as sequels go, I think James Cameron said it best, "One of the things I always feel strongly about in a sequel is that it shouldn't require you to have seen the first film, it should be self-contained."-James Cameron (Speaking about T2)

The fact that Grant got involved with the dinosaurs again made it unreal. But, then again, the whole movie was unreal for the motives of the rescue mission alone.
