Also, it's safe to submit the error report to Microsoft. They have the ability to let youk now if there is a fix to it. Simply searching the web will not tell you much unless everyone has the problem.

The only other solution I see, well not a solution, is that the disc itself could be damnaged. Check it to make sure there are no scratches, or dust on the bottom layer. If there is any dust clean it off with an anti-lint rag.

Alright:

Right click on your setup.exe, and set compatibility mode for Windows 98/ME. Do the same to simjp.exe.

Also, go into your configuration wizard for the game and change it to the lowest possible resolutino you can (640x480 x 16-bit)?

How old is the computer? What kind of video card and processor does it have?

Ah it works i tried that thing you said and it worked! One thing i had just recently re installed the game and its doing the thing when u create a dinosaur it restarts i have forgotten what you have to do to fix that.... thank you with the MFC thing.

Yeh... on the game i build a hatchery and then make a dinosaur shortly afterwards it crashes the computer.

From what I remember that is a known glitch. I don't remember a way around it. Try google.
