As far as i know there are3 species of pelicans, australien, american and african.

Yeah i think thats right. The african species tend to be white.Im not too sure about the Australen kind though.

Here in europe we also have pelicans, both white, one the common one and other with a 'punky' haircut wich i do not know the translation. I dont know if they are the same as the africans though (you know, migrations and so....)

That's a hilarious observation! Never would've thought about that irony....
Second, leave the guy who started the question alone, he asked something he didn't know, we don't all have to constantly give him sh*t. I know they're pelicans, you know, and now he knows. Discussion over!
