Oh no. Caps. I've seen the light and will follow you in wishing the movies would further depreciate in quality. In case you didn't see it, I already covered the fact that yes, they are just movies, but hyper-hyper evolution would still be really fucking stupid and would further demean the franchise.

Stan Winston claiming the Raptors in JP4 might have feathers? You know what that is? More pure aesthetics, and once again, we're simply supposed to just accept that they look that way and not clamour for some stupid excuse such as "hyper-evolution movie license."

As I have said elsewhere, although the introduction of for example, a Utahraptor, Deinonychus or Megaraptor would be cool, it's too much like already present dinos to really give me any thrill factor.

As I have also said a lot of times, a Carnotaur is perfect to introduce- not to similar, not too different, but still very lethal.

Well, Carnotaurus is rather similar to the vastly-neglected Ceratosaurus. Not that similar as you said, but still fairly alike.

And I just remembered something else that destroys the credibility of crisco's "evolution" BS. As the "Raptors" evolved, they got smaller, not bigger. The big "Raptors," like Utahraptor, Megaraptor (again, even if the genus is valid...Unenlagia, people), and Deinonychus in the Early-Mid Cretaceous evolved into the much smaller Dromaeosaurus, Velociraptor, Troodon, etc. in the Late Cretaceous. Now tell me...how much sense would it make for Velociraptor to evolve into its forefather and great, great, great grandpappy, Utahraptor? : Unless your answer is "not very much" or "none at all," you probably fail and must now repeat Deinonychosauria 101. Have a good day.
actually i take that back, sorry, but u have ur opinion i have my own, i've tried to make u realize that im not arguing with how evolution, worx but in JP evolution has happened at a faster pace as mentioned in the movies, When i mentioned the raptors "evolving" into megaraptors i dont mean evolve totally into the species and just show up as megaraptors, i mean that they make some changes, ot too drastc, larger build longer claws, making them look like taking a step towards becoming a dif species, or evolving as their own species, and not for all the pack to look the same, you'd have some that look like they did in jp3 and some that have "evolved", it is my way of making megaraptors appearing on the islands plausible becuase it would seem weird if we were introduced to them for the first time in JPIV if they've been on the island the whole time

I think it did miention in the DVD that the reason that they have feathers is that updates in paleontological views are changing. And the changes led to most of us believing that velocis had feathers.
Personaly I think adding more carnis is stupid. There are already enough nof them in the movie. Adding more Herbis would be nice.

I meant in terms of size rather than evolution.

The raptors in the first film were close enough to Utahraptors in size anyway, so I fail to see the relevance in putting them in the fourth film. Not only that, the audience wouldn't care... "Oh look... another big raptor."

Precisely. Audiences not in the know, like us, won't distinguish an Allosaur from a Carnotaur, for example, its just another "t-rex looking thing"

Crisco, Nagisa! Both of you stop flaming each other!

Crisco, Nagisa is right. It's NOT an opinion, it's a FACT which is explained on the JP/// DVD several times, including the Special Effects Team Commentary and The Making Of(Jack Horner himself states it). If you claim to know better than the people who made the freaking movie you really need to check who has the authority.

"JP is the greatest!", I doubt audiences have that big a lack of braincells. Maybe wherever you live(which I doubt being I know people from Down Under who are incredibly smart), but not everywhere.
