Apparently, the current version of the opening sequence, shown over at Skywalker Ranch has the title in it. Quote from a StarWars.com Hyperspace article: "complete with the movie title that may or may not be the final one"

It's most likely a cover for the real title, but it'll probably get leaked whether it's real or not.

Keep in mind that the rough cut of Episode I held the title of "THE BEGINNING". /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Yeah, that's why I said it's most likely a cover.

Troy, Hellboy, The Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Terminal and Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow.

Strangely enough Spider-man 2 leaves me uninterested.

Here's even more new information on the new 50th anniversary Godzilla movie

Next Godzilla 50th Info
Toho has doubled the budget for the 50th anniversary film, farming out digital effects and composites to an American company. The movie will also have a longer production period compare to the last few Godzilla movies and the apparent reason behind these adjustments seem that Toho is strongly aiming this one for the international market.

The film's producer, Shogo Tomiyama, was quoted in a press interview that "at least ten favorite [Kaiju monster] characters and five actors from the last 50 years." Will appear in the movie. Ryuhei Kitamura (Versus, Azumi) will indeed be directing the 50th anniversary film. Another interesting rumor around is that New York might also be under attack by the monsters as well as other major cities around the world. More news coming soon.

Here's the final news on Godzilla's 50th.

After waiting what seems to be an eternity Toho has finally annouced the 50th anniversary film: GODZILLA: FINAL WARS. The front page of of Toho's official website has been updated to reflect this. As expected, Ryuhei Kitamura is directing the film which is scheduled for a December 11, 2004 release.

MZ is working on some translations of various news articles but here are few things:

-Principle photography begins in May

-At least 10 or more classic monsters are scheduled for an appearance but also including a brand new kaiju called Monster X (gonna say tentatively until we know for certain but that's what the article said) which is designed to be the strongest opponent Godzilla will ever face. Mothra is also mentioned, no suprise to anyone I'm sure, and they do mention a long time fan faveorite will be making a come back (Angilas please!) Also, Godzilla will have a new design and according to the article it appears he may have actually be quite speedy this time?

-Locations include: New York, Shangai, Paris, etc

-Producer Shogo Tomiyama claims to want to make the 50th the best they can, a final film for this generation, with new films not arriving for possible 5 or 10 years. As I thought, this film could herald a long time break for Godzilla.

Stay tuned for more information, corrections, and additions!
