Why no deleted scenes on the Dvds?

Was it the original DNA manipulated Jurassic Park, the return of inGen in The Lost-World, or just the worth-wild running around frantically Jurassic Park III that captured your imagination.

i would have really liked to see the park fully operational with hundreds of tourists all over, then something happen

Even if they did decide to do a prequel people would be generally clueless as to what goes on and they'd be doing it more for the fans of the film series than a general population. Jurassic Park is not nearly as popular as something like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. The odds of any prequel occuring for a Jurassic Park movie looks next to nill, and at this rate the JP Series will probably turn into something like Jaws.

Interesting sidenote: They did a straight-to-video prequel for the Tremors series, which caters moslty to the fanbase. Too bad JP has too much marketing potential to limit to a dedicated fanbase.
