Oh, do I ever remember this debate...
If you wanna look at it scientifically, the T.rex has the edge. Sturdier body, bulkier muscles, and a head better equipped for killing. Big thick head with truly vice-like jaws, thick, hooked teeth anchored about halfway into the skull, and a neck like you wouldn't believe. Compare this to the mainly piscivorous Spinosaurus, which had a narrow jaw, a weaker bite, and smaller, rather brittle, cone-shaped teeth.
Head aside, T.rex has the weight advantage. Spinosaurus was built lighter, but not so light as to give it any overt advantage in agility. Still too heavy to duck and jive and all that boxer slang. BUT light enough to lose in a toe-to-toe standoff against a heavier, hardier T.rex.
About the only advantage the Spinosaurus has is its arms. But unless it really rears up far enough to put them into play—which would then put it at an abysmally crappy position balance-wise which, yeah, that whole "outclassed in weight but still frickin' heavy" thing—those aren't gonna make a whole helluva lot of difference.
The T.rex takes it. It was an animal designed to tangle with big game. The Spinosaurus was more a river raider and the scourge of six-foot freshwater fish all across the African continent.

You make good points. The problem is that it has been been told to these guys dozens of times. They don't care about the accuracy. This is all about personal taste, the reason the T-Rex was replaced in the first place, accuracy having nothing to do with it. I could easily tell the Spino's behaviour and "Invulnerability" was mostly artistic freedom, the same artistic freedom that gave the Pteranodons teeth. Doesn't matter, though. They're both gay, all because of the bickering. And that ain't gonna change until you all stop the f***ing debate.

Harharhar, very funny.Rick wrote:Well if they both suck, they must be gay. [/paradox of bending words]Dino_Slayer wrote: Not homosexually! How many times do I have say it? Fine, I'll just word it differently. They both SUCK!!!
Fine, continue debating if you see that as the only solution, but don't come crying to me if you feel bad about people insulting your favourite dinosaur, because that is your own damn fault. Oh, and that's the exact reason they're both "Gay".
