If Jurassic Park ever happened....

Could Jurassic Park ever really happen? How much of what you saw in Jurassic Park can be considered real? Discuss all of that and more here...

It is a possicility, as suggested many times in this thread, but it would just take a LOT of time, that's all.

actually, the point of this topic was to discuss aspects of if it did happen, not just the concept of bring them back.

not so much how, but what would come of it.

Good point... we have been trailing off quite a lot...

What would come of it?

I don't think the public will be too convinced. I mean, it would be such a HUGE event... something is almost bound to go wrong. It would be such a large operation. I mean think of everything added together - it would be insanely tricky to keep the public happy, and the Dinosaurs roaming around their enclosures eating provided food, not roaming around the park eating visitors.

Think the Serengeti with dinosaurs, that's what I would picture. Or a crater that is in the tropical parts of the planet that can sealed off so no dinosaurs can walk out but we can get in.
When all is said and done and the world is empty how much does it really matter the amount of money you had or what car you drove?

I like the crater idea. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

But would it work? That's the main idea. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

If it's a big enough crater and it's a warm enough place, then ya it should work. A fully enclosed ecology, a real and true lost world. Dreams and books may really come true.

Hmmm... I like.

But what crater do you have in mind? We'll need a massive crater for all of that, or loads of them close together... face it... were not on the moon.
