Definetly Rex and like others said if they just ignore the Spino then it's completely retarded, maybe if the Spino were to be driven off the island or if a pair of the Rex's ganged up and drove the Spino off the cliff so it dies but is somewhat realistic.

I think Carchardontosaurus should be. We need waay more Predeators and prey here. Mostly we see herbivores...But isnt the theme which attratc most attention is Predeators not prey? Its like comparing a boring old, grumpy Brachiosaur when a Giganotosaurus is laying baby eggs and protecting it? It all votes for the preadeators (or mostly all).

So I would like Carchardontosaurus vs spino. And maybe Giganotosaurus vs Carchardonotsaurus.. :-)

What's the latest word on this, by the way? Are Carcharodontosaurus saharicus and Giganotosaurus carolinii still up for debate as far as their being in the same genus, or did they finally come to a decision on that?

Think about it, people would notice a T-rex or Spino washing up or turning up on the mainland...there would be little doubt about it. However, with a smaller species it is possible it could be confused with lizards, etc.  a-la TLW novel, and go unnoticed for a while.
*Thinks of a JP banner whith a compy in the middile.*That would make the movie reallllllllllay boring.I hope it's the............(I'm tring to create a dramatic effect.)............(The sepenses is killing you I know it.)..............T-REX!If the spino is the main dino I wish the wretched cretruere(spino) to be throughn to the bowls of the earth and devouered alive.

do remember that in JP3 the last male rex had it's neck snapped by the spino, so only the female and young rex would be the only tyrannosaurus' on the island. The Spino would have gotten both of them shortly after the inccident with the male, well, maybe...
But I would like to see a charcardontosaurus come charging through the streets and trash stuff, with an Acrocanthersaurus devoiring people...plus loads of UtahRaptors being very sneaky...to be honest I don't want to see any herbivoirs in the film, just carnevoirs. Carnotuarus would be cool too.
And also remember that InGen made the Spinosaurus in secret, so it wouldn't be too big a suprise they where working on other huge carnevoirs.
The reason that Spino was even placed onto the island was because they wanted all the dinosaurs to die-out, and since spino had a huge appatite then it would be near perfect for the job, but they made it more violent....somehow...

The T.rex in JP3 was a sub-adult. Either that, or the sizing chart that came with the DVD was sickeningly inaccurate. Besides, what reason would the Spinosaur have for actively hunting down Tyrannosaurs? Makes no sense.

If you're so hell-bent on seeing mindless Theropod violence, just go rent the Carnosaur movies.

This makes...less than zero sense. If they wanted to kill the animals out, they would've just firebombed the island like in the novels. Or gassed the place or something sensible like that. They wouldn't have bred a Spinosaurus aegyptiacus, given its mental capacity, strength, and aggression all severe reprogramming, and set it loose on the island. That's...ugh...

The Spinosaurus in JP3 is the desperate attempt to create a "spicy new movie monster" to drive the paper-thin plot. For all intents & purposes, it's a fictional beast based loosely on a once-living dinosaur and given its name in a cheap attempt at keeping the film somewhat "scientifically accurate."
