Since no one else is going to stick up for the raptors of JP3, I will. I feel that JP3 had the best velociraptor designs in the whole series, it wasn't the best story but it had the best looking dinos. The color scheme wasn't loud or completely unreal, it really made them look more intimidating. It's a very striking look, and draws your attention. When I go back now and look at the original JP raptors they look plain in comparison, the color scheme is so dull, solid brown with a white belly. Most of you do realize that they decided to add the feathers because they found evidence that the raptor might have had feathers. They also changed the skull shape to match new scientific evidence as well.

The dinosaur designs in JP3 were crap. The brachiosaurus was crap. The raptors were alright but TLW had the best raptors.

QUOTE Well, Crichton did. "I was only slightly dead" my ass. They were talking about burying Malcolm.[/quote]

And ChaoticBaronyx, If I recall correctly Sherlock Holmes died and was brought back from the dead. What is wrong with bringing Malcolm back from the dead when he survived in the movie.

How so Jpfan91989?I'm fine with you feeling that way, but give me some insight why instead of being so blunt. I hate when someone shoots down an opinion without explaining why they feel differently about a subject.

I am not a dinosaur fan, but I thought that the earlier dinsoaur "skins" were way cooler. The movie weren't meant to be totally accurate. The raptors in the third movie were way to colorful for a non-dino fan. The brachiosauruses were absoulutly horrendous. When I saw them I thought they looked fake and I know nothing about dinoaurs.

...And how is that any different from the brachiosaurus in Jurassic Park? Though it was cool, the brachiosaurus in JP1 was the most unrealistic CGI sequence in the entire film. It's skin texture was too smooth, and the reflection off of it's skin was too bright. The animatronic head used when Alan Grant, Lex, and Tim were in a tree is the only realistic looking brachiosaurus in the film. In JP3 the brachiosaurus was too bright, but at least they gave it realistic skin texture and a flashy new color scheme.

The color scheme was the worst. And like I said the movie weren't made to be realistic.

How would you know? Have you ever seen a real Brachiosaur? As far as you know they could have had pink and yellow polka dots all over their skin and had bright baby blue around their eyes and nostrils.

Is that directed towards JPfan91989 or me? If that's directed towards me, you're right, they could have been any color, no one has a clue of what they looked like, but I was saying that I know what the skin texture of living animals looks like. They made the brachiosaurus in JP3 have a skin texture similar to an elephant's, which is what they were trying to do in the 1st. film but it didn't turn out quite well to me. I was simply stating the bad lighting, you can almost always pick out a CGI creature in a movie, because it almost never matches the lighting around it. CGI characters usually look like they've been dipped in a coat of wax. To me the original Jurassic Park is the only film that features CGI characters that match the lighting on the set.(Except for the brachiosaurus)

Oh, and Jpfan91989, I never said that the movies had to be 100% realistic.

Yeah pack raptor it was directed at jpfan91989 and you're right about the skin texture, they have found imprints of dino skin so that I wasn't talking about.

Okay, just wanted to clear that up.
