hehe, I'm a hunter... lol.
Well, I found a few websites..., here's one that seems to look promising...:
http://www.thekeyboard.org.uk/Our%20Nemesis.htm
Sadly, I found this on the site as well:
QUOTE Nemesis has not yet been discovered, if it exists it is currently as lost as a needle in a hay stack. among a million brighter stars. If we knew which one it was we could see it through binoculars. With a small telescope its distance from the sun could easily be measured , once we knew where it was.[/quote]
lol... right, so this "Nemesis" doesn't seem to 'exist' yet... lol

hmmm....well now, guess that's another thing that's goin to leave me thinking for a while....
*looks up at the stars* what's out there??
so what's going to happen when the next one comes along?? is it time yet?? i'm ready /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Well, I'm not too sure on its 'existance'... but, if it IS real and out there...
I'm not sure whats gonna happen... seems to me, that sooner or later, something's gonna hit us, and we'll be gone...
Then again, if it's out there, I'm sure that NASA would inform us or something... (hopefully), and it's not like we could do much to avoid it, if it came close to our orbit...(not like we could use missiles to blow it up-- Nemesis, that is)...
*sob*... The human races' mass extinction...
Now, since Nemesis is supposed to such a strong gravitatial pull, it would pull in astoroids from the belt between Mars and Jupiter, right...? I think we could be able to destroy those, if they came too close to our planet..., I mean... send out those rockets to blow up the flying space rocks..., its a good idea, but, lets hope the little fragments aren't going to rain down onto Earth and kill us... lol.
Anyway, it could be possible that this is what wiped out the dinosaurs..., but maybe it could have been a comet or something with a strong gravitational pull?
Then again, Nemesis is supposed to come around every --what-- ? 26 million years or something... so... who knows...?

guess it'll be Armagedon on a larger scale, with more ships and such...hopefully the small fragments would be vaporized by the atmosphere...
anything's possible... /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
