[ From GalacticBasic.net ]<br /><br />For those who don't know, Episode III should show the fall of Anakin Skywalker, and the rise of the Galactic Empire.<br /><br />All the Jedi except Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin will die, but LucasFilm are staying tightlipped about the demise of Mace Windu.<br /><br />Filming is due to start on 30th June, and last for around 12 weeks.<br /><br />George Lucas flew over to the Fox studios in Australia on 16 June to make sure everything is running like clockwork. Sets are still being produced, and include familiar locations such as Palpatine's office, and Padme's apartment. Othe locations are rumoured to include: Ben Kenobi's hut, Yoda's hut on Dagobah, and anticipation is high to see a glimpse of life on the planet Alderaan, which is so tragically destroyed in A New Hope.<br /><br />Episode III should contain numerous battle scenes, as we see the end of the Clone Wars which started in Attack of the Clones. According to various sources the movie opens with a battle scene, but this is not 100% confirmed, and somewhere there is the ultimate lightsaber battle - the battle between Master and Apprentice. The one we've all been waiting for, when Anakin falls to the dark side, and presumably kills Dooku to take his place at the side of the new Emperor.<br /><br />And, as always, only Mr Lucas knows the title for sure.<br />May the Force be with you.

Filming has now started.<br /><br />Confirmed characters from the Original Trilogy include Chewbacca, Mon Mothma, and (I think) Wilhuff Tarkin.<br />It has also been confirmed that a character from the Expanded Universe will be in it too, but no word yet of who it is.

Sorry, discovered more info...<br /><br />Filming today incuding 6 small scenes, all on the same set, tomorrow will see a further 9 scenes shot, including at least one set change.<br /><br />Also today, Anthony Daniels tried his C-3PO costume... YES, the GOLDEN Threepio costume!

I'm surprised you didn't mention Anakin sporting his new hairstyle in Episode III.

No, I'm still debating whether or not to. Yesterday Ain't it Cool News posted the picture of Anakin at a low-res quality but it was quickly taken down. Hyperspace members confirmed it's authenticity.

Yeah, it was on the webcam, that probably explains the low-res quality.<br /><br />I don't agree with them charging for the EpIII info, but I want to know everything, so I subscribed anyway. It's only about £12 ($20) for the year, which is nothing when you have a job, but I think it's unfair on the younger SW fans who can't afford it or don't have credit cards.

lol<br /><br />Anyways... On the EpIII webcam right now, I an see a Yoda puppet, which is kinda confusing, seeing as there is no reason to suggest that they won't use the CG Yoda from AotC, and there is an unfinished Mon Calamari head... Curious...
