I played the demo a little. It was fun to snipe terrorists and watch the replay.

Has anyone here put any thought into potentially joining the military?

I would join the Air Force just to get into college and university for free, since they pay for it all. I sent one of those little cards with my name and info to the air force, but i doubt it'll go very far.

Yes, I considered joining while I was in high school, but then I decided to not be so fatalistic. I sh*t you not. I was planning on going out with a bang if I was going to go out at all. Not in the postal sense, but, at least, to have died doing something noble. An Army recruiter totally ruined that delusion for me. Yes, just one man trying to fulfill his agenda of making his quota, or whatever, screwed his own organization out of a good leader. I mean that most sincerely. I even had a recommendation to West Point signed and ready.

Honestly, warfare is not what it used to be as far as weapons and tactics. I prefer a sword to all of these modern weapons. It's so much more personal.

In the second pic the dude looks like Buck Compton and the third pic's guy reminds me of Vassili Zaitsev.

I was gonna join the RAF, but I wanted to be a pilot and can't because of my asthema.
