Is the building in JPIII supposed to be the same as the one Nick went into in TLW? They sorta look the same.. but there is no fence around the one in III, and it generally doesn't look the same. Are the buildings even in the same complex on the island?

No they happened on two different parts of the island.

I think, the filmmakers want it to be the same as the TLW's. Just think about the car's broken window... (anyway it really doesen't look the same) /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Going by the topo map made for JP3, they are infact two different places.

Which topo map? The inaccurate fan-made one that conveniently places both events on seperate halves of the island?

Seriously, though, an idle viewer (and a fan who sees the movie for the first time) would link the two building together, but the building in JP3 has no surrounding buildings in the front nor do we see any fences. If it were the same building from TLW, we would probably be shown that great mural behind the front desk. However, when the group sees the building for the first time, they see an entire complex. It's not too hard to believe that the building in JP3 and TLW are in the same complex (as they were in the book). The direction the JP3 group came from could be opposite the way TLW group came from, where the JP3 group stumbled apon the hatchery building whereas the TLW group were purposely seeking the administration building.

The JP3 topo map prop that was sold on eBay.

That makes a lot of sense actually. I find it hard to imagine also that if they were two seperate complexes, that raptors would call both of them home. Surely it would be one or the other for them.

There's two different tribes of Raptors on the island, TLW ones & the JP3 ones.

Who have already grown into 2 seperate races.

Where's your source for that? From what I can tell, there was no mention for the raptors' new look in the movie itself.
