The Village Ending

This is 70% true ending of the village coming out July 30.

I don't want to spoil the whole thing but the "creatures" in the woods are the elder people from the village. And, the whole movie is in present time. The old people's job is to keep the people inside this small area and preventing them from ever reaching the outside world. Almost a preservation. All of the old people are people who have lost a love.

So? Although I thought it was a mediocre movie by Night's standards, it's better than most the crap out now. I had a good time seeing it, probably won't buy the DVD right away. For me, Bryce Dallas Howard's performance was worth the price of admission, she deserves an Oscar nod, if not a win.
