Who do you want to direct? I would really like Kennedy to direct. She has been around these movies and Speilberg for a long time, she is bound to have picked soemthing up about them. Plus i think a feminine touch to the film would make it better, bringing in more story and character development then the action scenes. I know i sound sexist but thats what women usually give a movie. Speilberg was an good director, johnston could have been just as good if he had a good script, but i felt like I never really got to know any characters. JP3 was just action, action, action and after watching that movie 3 million times i still can't remember some characters names. Same with TLW, there was too many characters. I think Kathleen can bring something to the series we havent seen before, mind blowing action scenes featuring characters we actually care about.
BTW- Character development in the original JP was good but the others relied more on action.

That's true-- I think it would be interesting to see what she could do with it. I mean at this point.. what the heck.. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Kathleen Kennedy is well known around Hollywood.. If she actually wanted to direct something, she could. But going by her history, she has not shown any want to direct a film.

Thats really quite sad, I had my heart set on her. As long as we don't get a director like Joel Schumacher or Pitof we will be fine /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.......well finER

Joel Schumacher is not that bad of a director, he just wasn't the right guy for Batman Forever. Have you seen any other films he has directed? I think he did a great job directing Phone Booth, his angles added to that feeling of insecurity and fear you would get in that situation. As for Batman & Robin, well, that was bad all around, but someone did write that cheezy script.(Akiva Goldsman*cough* *cough*) Even though that was Schumacher at his worst it still doesn't compare to how bad the script was.
Why would you think Joel Schumacher would be interested in directing a Jurassic Park film anyways? The odds of him directing a J.P. film are about 1 in a million.
As for Pitof, you know he will probably never get another chance directing a big-budgeted film after Catwoman. Though Catwoman does look bad, I'll reserve my judgment on it until I see it because there have been plenty of films the critics have ripped apart that I end up enjoying.

Well John Sayles, who is of course supposedly rewritting the script for JP4, is a good director. He usually doesn't do action movies, but he's always about good character development. Or how about Stan Winston. I know he's never been given a big budget film, but his directorial debut Pumpkinhead, one of horror's finest hours, was actually pretty well made & acted. But I'd probably have to go with maybe Frank Marshell, he's a very good friend of Speilberg's. Or James Cameron, though I highly doubt it. Honestly I'd most likely have to go with Cameron. All of his movies have been good, except Titanic of course.
