Well, it wouldn't hurt to learn to spell. Most palaeontologists write scientific papers or even books, so spelling is a must.
Next, you have to stay in school, and do your best to follow through to college or university. Volunteering at a museum will help to improve your chances, too.

Well I don't know about you, but I want a job that can actually provide for the necessities that are required to survive, and paleontology is hardly that.
