Hey guys, just wanted to announce that my first novel, Era: The Dawn of a New Age is going to the presses and you can expect it to be on sale right around the New Year. For your eyes only, I will give you the brief synopsis that's going on the back of the book:

In a world still recovering from the devastating effects of a robot revolution, a nuclear standoff that made the Cold War look like a Dear John letter, and a plague that killed ninety percent of the human population in a matter of years, dinosaurs have begun to reappear and are quickly succeeding at bringing the planet to its knees. In this time of chaos, survival is all that matters as humanity struggles to maintain its dominance in a world where it no longer belongs.

Man has survived the future, now he must survive the past.

How do you get a copyright for your work?

and technically, as soon as you write anything down in hard format, you have a copyright for it. However, registering it with the federal government is like having insurance. By filling out the super simple forms at www.copyright.gov and paying them 30 bucks, they'll pay to sue if someone tries to steal your work. That's what I did. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yup, officially, all you have to do is write "copyright 2005 beeurd" or whatever at the bottom to let everyone know that it is yours. But if it is something that is likely to be plagerised (can't spell at 5am, sorry) then its worth registering it with an official copyright agency or somesuch.

um it sucks yet it sounds interesting. ok!
