for some reason i re-installed the game (because my com got wiped) and every time i played it instead of playing it it came up with that thing when you have to put in an administator's password to install it. I installed again and play it again and still it goes to that, so i go to control panel and un-install it but it comes up with an error so i can't re-installed it again or play it, can some please tell me whats happening.

Assuming you are using Windows XP:
Check to make sure the account you are running on is not set to "Limited"

Pretty much, it's a problem with your settings. Is this your parent's computer, or you work computer? Because you'd have to ask your parents/ boss about it.

There is a work around to it. But I'll need more information before I can tell you.

Give me the system specs if you can. Or a model number of the system you are using (Dell, Compaq, Gateway, HP... etc). What version of Windows are you using?

So even if you try to play the game you get an error saying you need an administrator password?
I would make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and Direct X 9.0c installed on your system before installing Operation Genesis. Then try to reinstall the game again from an Administrator account. Restart as directed. Try to play.

Well then. Can you copy the exact error it gives you? Including "View Microsoft Error Report" before you submit the problem.
