Re:Wot dino species?
There should be more dinos. It doesn't make since to just find those certain ones in the area. There should more than three in each site. Also some dig sites in South America and maybe one in Antarctica.

QUOTE Wouldn't make much sense, since the actual raptor is as big as it. When they discovered it i think that the temporary name was spielbergraptor, just for that (in the movies raptor are bigger and so...)
Utahraptor was BIGGER than the JP Velociraptor. The JP Velociraptor, however, WAS an exact match for Deinonychus.

QUOTE micropachycephalosaurus.(The dino with the longest name excluding genus)
Excluding genus? That IS the genus name. The names we commonly use for dinosaurs are their genus names, NOT the species names.

For example, Tyrannosaurus is the animal's genus name, Rex is its species name. Triceratops is the genus name, and there are several species of Triceratops, including T.horridus, T.maximus, etc. (the "T." before the species names stands for "Triceratops," by the way. This is where the term "T.rex" comes from for Tyrannosaurus).

Re:Wot dino species?
Anyway, back on-topic, I mostly just want to see Iguanodon, Baryonyx, Diplodocus, Amargasaurus, Apatosaurus, Coelophysis, and a few others.

I also want to see fish and small mammals (like rats) in an expansion/sequel, so we can see small predators nab small mammals like in real life, and the Baryonyx (and possibly Spinosaurus, if they were to aim for more realism) can behave more realistically (i.e. primarily eating fish).

I also want to see improved models for the Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, Kentrosaurus, & Acrocanthosaurus. The Allosaurus has arms that are too small and a skull that's too short (it looks like some freak cross between Allosaurus & Carnotaurus). The Stegosaurus & Kentrosaurus hold their tails wrong (it's believed now that they held their tails high & horizontal off the ground, not drooping low close to it). And the Acrocanthosaurus has too thin & jagged of a spine and the colour is HIDEOUS. :

aw i'm sorry... :'(
Re:Wot dino species?
what do you guys think of megladon? It was huge and it ate meat whats not to like? And its a SHARK?
Re:Wot dino species?
it would be cool to have a utah raptor, flying dinos, and aquatic dinos(like megladon) ;D
Re:Wot dino species?
There are no such things as "flying dinos" and "water dinos." Pterosaurs were flying reptiles, not dinosaurs, and the same goes for Plesiosaurs, Tylosaurs, sharks, etc. Reptiles, not dinosaurs (except for the shark, which is a fish).

Megalodon might be a problem in Operation Genesis. Firstly, it lived in the Cenozoic, well after dinosaurs were wiped out. Secondly, it's more of a deep-water animal; unless there are deep-water aquariums in later editions of the game, it's be hard to include it since it'd probably beach itself on coastal waters.
