Wot dino species?
Re:Wot dino species?
Something else that strikes me as a bit off is the Pachycephalosaurs' headbutting. I've heard some recent studies that say they couldn't do that without breaking their necks, based on the way their skulls connect to their spinal columns. But then, considering that behaviour is something of their..."claim to fame" so to speak, I guess a little creative license is overlookable.

Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in Thy sight. I shall purify all with a single blow. Mine enemies stand before mine eyes. Who shall mourn for Division XIII? If i recall well, in JPIII we can see a pack of males and just one female...

Thinking better i may recall two females.... Maybe they are like wolves, where just the alpha pair breeds and the others are protectors. Maybe the females were protecting the eggs.. but then too many eggs for just one female... o well...

Then you'd have a dead Megalodon being picked apart by Velociraptors.

Not to mention whales during the early Cenozoic when Megalodon lived were significantly smaller than, say, our modern blue and humpback whales (this was in the early days of whale evolution, when they were really still taking shape).

Besides, in Operation Genesis it doesn't matter if mosquitoes bit the animals or not. Amber-encased insects are rare (and if you ask me, useless unless you sell them) in the game, and most of the DNA you get comes directly from the fossils of the actual animal.

Since when did exaguration(spelling mistake i know!) become illegal

Sorry. It's hard to tell when people are exaggerating or actually believing Megalodon was some God Among Animals or something in this thread. :-

Re:Wot dino species?
i agree that megaladon was to big to swim in shallow water, bit it would be cool to see a huge shark grab a t-rex or raptor into the water and thrash it from side to side.
if we did see a megalodon, i would like a feeder that despenses dolphins and a small species of whale and a tunnel that you place like a path.

p.s ive e-mailed blue tongue and asked them if they are thinking about releaseing an expansion, if they do actually answer i doubt it will be a straight yes or no but at least its an answer ;D
