Spy Report from TF.n:

Christopher Lee can't like this - his character dies within 10 minutes of the opening crawl of Episode III. No word on who's hand he falls by but he isn't needed long for filming since he doesn't play a significant role. In fact, the veteran actor is already finished filming with the exception of some pickup shots later next year though his new digital double is certain to be getting a workout.

So Darth Tyranus/Count Dooku is getting rubbed off early - leaving a spot empty for another Sith. Anyone seen Anakin?

• Ian McDiarmid (Palpatine) has a much larger and important role in Episode III (for obvious reasons).
• Rick has been trying to convince George to do a cameo in the prequels but George refuses.
• The emphasis of Ep3 is as much story as Visual FX.
• Ep3 will have the same emotional depth as ESB.
• Visually, Ep3 is the most ambitious film yet due to all the number of new planets.
• The film will end on a sad note, but there is hope for the future of the story (Classic Trilogy).
• Rick can neither confirm nor deny whether the character Tarkin will be in Ep3.
• Three major lightsaber duels have been shot so far.
• The underwater tank set will feature a scene where Obi-Wan fights with droids.
• Rick asks that the fans have faith in the decision to go with the CGI trooper suits as opposed to actual costumes.
• George is always making changes (likely to include the script to Ep3).

Wow .. when I read "A dream come true for fans" I figured Jar Jar died, but then I read he didn't. Jeez, I don't know much about SW fans .. but I can't think of anything I've dreamed of seeing.

I think "the dream come true" will be Vader getting into his suit. Wouldn't mind seeing Jar Jar die, but there's 20 years between EP3 and ANH, I always see him dying on Alderaan when the Death Star blows it up.

That'd be perfect. If I was Lucas the last line spoken in the film would be Jar Jar saying "Oh! by the way annie, I'm moving to Alderaan! moiyee moiyee!" and then "DUN DUN DUN" before the credits.
