I read on this site that they were considering the possibility of pretending that JP3 never happened, and ending the trilogy with this installment.<br /><br />If this is indeed to be an end, it needs to be better than the first two combined. If it's not competing with the Lord of the Rings franchise, it doesn't deserve to wrap up the trilogy. They need to have Crichton on the job, to give them something that's not just thrilling at moments (like JP3 tried to be the whole hour and a half of it's length), but it also needs to stimulate something besides adrenaline.<br /><br />The first film had a good, old-fashioned corporate espionage thing going for it, along with the excellent special effects and the dinosaurs themselves and all. The plots got less complex and less complex over the next two films.<br /><br />These aren't horror films, they need to stop making them like one. They're sci-fi adventure, they need to have an adventure that hasn't been used since the time of black &amp; white television (monsters chasing people trying to eat them). Well, yeah, King Kong and Godzilla were great for their time, but Jurassic Park 3 was just an attempt to replicate that for a modern audience. Well, the modern audience is different, according to the revenue made by it.

And Dr. Grant will be back YAY! I loved him in both and I thought two really lacked his ideals and good advice and views such as why they shouldn't take unnecesary steps, but I also think him and Malcomb were at enough odds to spice it up some. Maybe they'll bring Ellie back too. I wanna play her /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />! But I also wanna see some water dinos or maybe bigger Raptors.
