New Series based on Simpsons DISCARDED!!!!!!!!

There's a direct-to-DVD feature length Family Guy in the works. Due out in about a year to a year-and-a-half.
I liked the show, but I think one of the reasons it got cancelled might've been that it was getting a little too heavy on the sexual perversion jokes.

I don't see why, shows like South Park and Beavis and Butthead were a lot worse.

But they weren't aired during primetime on a very widely distributed network. Fox beats out MTV and Comedy Central/Network when it comes to reaching the minds of young, impressionable watchers.

Family Guy, to me, didn't feel like it had much or any sexual content. There IS the episode where Stewey wants to keep his parents from having s** and not having another child, but that's the only episode I've seen where they seem to focus on s** a lot.

What about the episode where Chris is a paper boy, and there's an old man trying to lure him into s**? What about Quagmire finding the teen cheerleader tied up in the washroom stall and saying "Jackpot"?

I think those types of situations are factors which may have helped contribute to the show's cancellation.
