Somewhere on a remote island there lie no fences, no power, and no plot. Explore the amazing world of the Universal Studios potential known as Jurassic Park IV. (Spoilers Allowed!)
1. Why all those critics on the movies ! (They were all cool ! /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />)
2. Why not any more on Nublar? (It's not destroyed according to the Novel!)
3. Why not accurate Velociraptors, They're big enough to kill you in a pack.
4. Why the hell so long waiting !!!!! /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
That's for all now... /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
Okay. I REALLY FUCKING HOPE that you're just from a foreign country and English isn't your first language. Otherwise, we have a problem.
1. Question is incomprehensible.
2. It WAS destroyed according to the novels, and that's the version I'd rather stick to, because quite frankly, every single idea I've ever heard for a return to Isla Nublar has sucked ass, end of story.
3. Because larger Velociraptors make for scarier movie attractions, plain & simple. Spielberg's (and Jonhston's now...) trying to make a piece of cinematic entertainment here, not Walking with Dinosaurs.
4. Because making a movie (and making it good especially) takes a long time. This is common damned sense.

2) Yeah, Nublar was destroyed in the original book, but that was because the government (I believe it was Coasta Rican. Anyway, a government) was notified of the island. That never happened in the movie, and, for all intents and purposes, the world didn't know about dinosaurs until San Diego. I've never read any ideas for a return to Isla Nublar movie (I can understand that most are just fanboys' wet dreams and suck), but I do recall several JP comics made that have our unwilling heroes returning to the island.
3) I'm not a big fan of Velociraptors, mostly because I think they've been overplayed. They were wonderfully portrayed in JP, and I loved their... ambiguity? in TLW, but JP3 just turned me off to raptors.
4) I don't think a four-year break between high-tech, high-production value movies are too bad. They give us a lot of time to think things over and to discuss. However, those waits can build up our expectations to a final product that just can't cut it...
Let me add to the velociraptor size point by adding that at the time of Jurassic Park's pre-production phase, newly uncovered raptor remains had been discovered in Utah, which suggested a raptor size of approximately six feet high. However, this was not velociraptor mongolesis (sp), but a species dubbed utahraptor. Mongolesis was actually only about four feet high, but Spielberg and company decided to play along with the larger species for the film, as it simply added more entertainment value to the flick. Various other physical attributes were changed as well for cosmetic appeal, as well as the fact that when creating asthetics for a dinosaur film, its all speculation and personal taste.
Actually, Utahraptor was closer to eight feet high, much too big to be used as reference material (or even a convenient excuse) for the movie Velociraptors. And four feet high is still big for V.mongoliensis (they were closer to the height of wild turkeys...up to a human knee, in other words). In reality (or in the greatest possible likelihood, let's put it that way), the movie Raptors are based on Deinonychus antirrhopus, a North American Dromaeosaurid that matches the movie Raptor's height/weight/length dimensions almost to the decimal point, and also retains a similar body structure.

Indeed. Of course, having used Horner as a consultant, the inspirations for the Jurassic Park raptors probably came from almost every raptor species known, throwing out whatever information they deemed unfit or irrelevant. Regardless, the dinosaurs of the JP films have never, and I mean never, been scaled correctly according to their real-life prehistoric counterparts. Almost a mute point...
This is true. Just look at the pullout that comes with the JP3 DVD. The Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and Ceratosaurus are all way too big, and the T.rex too small. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
