I don't see what's so big about showing a girl's breast on TV. After all, those five-year-olds were still sucking on one a few years ago.

Basically, we're far behind the rest of the world on what is and is not allowed on TV. I'm glad this happened, because maybe this will be one more step in getting us caught up with the other industrialized nations and out of this obnoxious "oh no I'm offended!" puritanical attitude towards the entertainment industry as a whole. I'm not saying I want smut, but I want my TV not to mix words and dance around "sensitive" issues. I also want to see American feature films and foreign film & television make it onto American TV without having to be run through extensive FCC wringers beforehand.

"Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the man, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in Thy sight. I shall purify all with a single blow. Mine enemies stand before mine eyes. Who shall mourn for Division XIII? Who shall mourn for the Vatican?"

I just think there's a time and place for that kind of stuff, but the Super Bowl is not one of them.

I have to agree with you on that, Nagisa. I can't stand that attitude. The Victorian Era is over. I wish people would keep up.

Anyway, I'm not going to give the Janet thing a whole lot of attention. It's not all that special...well at least not terribly important, anyway.

"You sharpen the human appetite to the point where it can split atoms with its desire; you build egos the size of cathedrals; fiber-optically connect the world to every eager impulse; grease even the dullest dreams with these dollar-green, gold-plated fantasies, until every human becomes an aspiring emperor, becomes his own God... and where can you go from there?" "And as we're straddling from one deal to the next, who's got his eye on the planet, as the air thickens, the water sours, and even the bees' honey takes on the metallic taste of radioactivity? And it just keeps coming, faster and faster. There's no chance to think, to prepare; it's buy futures, sell futures, when there is no future." - John Milton
