Can it be real? Has anyone tried?

Actually, if each space were to consist of roughly 50,000 years like they should, I need a lot more. The way I have it now, each space represents about 500,000 years.

Don't get snippy with me for trying to thoroughly prove a point. Many people tend to forget just how long ago (or "recently") these animals lived, so it's nice to give them a visual sometimes.

Even so, I wouldn't rule it out completely, in theory it would work, and it's true, the chances of finding any DNA for a dinosaur is...too large a number. However "if" their was some dna found, it "could" have a chance, I'm not saying that that it would, but it's still possible, with a big if.

Maybe when technology advances more, we'll understand more about technology...however, I would say that leaving dinosaurs for the rocks, for those are the real ones, yep, kinda like Grant, that's me. Wooly Mammoths are a go if we can clone one, because they where alive during the human era, however dinosaurs are like...65 million...even if we could ever clone one, I would really go against it, as hard as it is to bite the fact that I wouldn't mind seeing a Tyrannosaurus Rex in the flesh, I like it better with just my imagination...I dunno...just me I guess.

Hey Nagisa Mammoths were around until about 8000 years ago maybe even a bit longer like till 5000 years ago. The majority however died out 10,000 years ago so it's even close to the present than you suggested.

Ya, technology advances so fast, its like, you buy the newsest and best computer on the market, and by the time you got it, they already have another computer better on the market. So its quite possible in 40-100 years or so.

Yes it does progress quite quickly and considering how much we're gonna likely become dependent on genetic technology so this kind of thing will likely progress in a natural fashion and won't likely be stopped unless of course our civilization becomes stale and stops progressing in which case I invite the barbaian hordes come in and take us out like they did to the romans.

ever read "the science of jurassic park, or, how to create a dinosaur" it's a good book and it goes through all of this in good detail.

Has anyone here heard of the terror birds? If you watched walking with prehistoric beasts you know the ones I'm talking about. Anyway I always thought that taking something like and modifing just enough like so it grew a long tail and had claws would be enough cause you already have a template to work with it's a large bipedal predator with a big mouth, very similiar to the dinos.
