New Dino(s)
From your list...
Acrocanthosaurus atokensis
Baryonyx walkerii
Yangchuanosaurus shangyouensis (I've become quite taken by this creature of late...dunno why)
Others...
Albertosaurus sarcophagus
Amargasaurus cazaui
Shantungosaurus giganteus
Styracosaurus albertensis
I could really go on to list a number of other favourites of mine, but I'll restrain myself, for now. A.cazaui would be nice for both a Diplodocid Sauropod and because it's so pretty. S.giganteus because seeing an Ornithopod that could dwarf many Sauropod species would be pretty nifty. S.albertensis because the Jurassic Park series has neglected Ceratopsians thus far, and we might as well have a damn stylish one if any. B.walkerii I just had to chip in for because it's always been a favourite of mine. Y.shangyouensis I put in because, as I said, I've become inexplicably fond of the giant Chinese Allosaurid lately.
But my top two are definitely A.atokensis & A.sarcophagus. The Acro because they need a distinctive-looking carnivore that can go toe-to-toe with a T.rex that purists don't need to bitch about. Also...it's just cool. Albertosaurus because it's without a doubt my all-time favourite species, and I think a hunting pack of them could make for a pretty suspenseful enemy in a JP film.

"Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the man, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in Thy sight. I shall purify all with a single blow. Mine enemies stand before mine eyes. Who shall mourn for Division XIII? Who shall mourn for the Vatican?"

None of the above = Oviraptor, and it gets my vote.
(though I'd also like to see Baryonyx, Metriacanthosaurus, & Dilophosaurus as well.)

Carchardontosaurus. The killer from the South! Lol, I really want to see it kill Spinosaurus. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Makes good plot for it killing Tyrannosaurus!
Anyways, Carchardontosaurus should be a unknown speices who was created. We could of not seen it in JP1 since they haven't discovered yet. But InGen was still working in TLW, so they could of created it at that time...

Actually, C.saharicus was known for years prior to Jurassic Park, but only from the partial jaw of a sub-adult. They just didn't know how big the adults were until recently.Micronew wrote:Anyways, Carchardontosaurus should be a unknown speices who was created. Anyway, I don't really think it'd be a good idea. Too gimmicky. Jurassic Park is too full of common species and gimmicks like "the biggest ______," "the smartest ______," and "the most dangerous ________." Why can't they just use a regular or obscure animal? A middle-of-the-road Allosaurid could be more than a threat to any expedition team. As could a mid-sized Ceratopsian, or a really obscure Tyrannosaurid. Doesn't always have to be "the ____iest _____ on Earth."

I want the Dilophosaurus back!
He had a great role in JP1, but his size is wrong... /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" />
And I hope there are more and more of them...`dangerous`!
