Since a camouflage skin like that is not actually known to have existed with any one specific dinosaur species, they could just as easily put it on another animal that doesn't look so much like the Ceratosaurus nasicornis from JP3. Hell, why not put the chameleon ability on that very C.nasicornis? It did seem to just pop in out of nowhere, after all.

I would like to see a scythe lizard a.k.a. therizinosaurus. That would be cool.

Nagisa, I think that it's not so much that the dinos in J.P. have to be the biggest or the smartest. I think what they try to do is pick some dinos that ordinary people are familiar with, and to pick some dinos that stand out as very unique and wouldn't possibly be mistaken for a different species. They like to show dinos that are old favorites, and expose audiences to dinos that most audiences have never heard of. I bet that the reason why they don't use a middle-of-the-road dino like, let's say Allosaurus, is because they resemble T-Rex's too much. Most audiences wouldn't know the difference, and even if they did it wouldn't be a very impressive sight, because in a way it's nothing new, it's way too similar to the rex in appearance. Almost all tyrannosaurids are.

Allosaurus was not a Tyrannosaurid.

Anyway, I still say they should take some distincitve, yet obscure species and use them. I mean, Velociraptor mongoliensis was almost completely unknown until Jurassic Park. They made it common knowledge. Same with Gallimimus bullatus & Dilophosaurus wetherelli. Spinosaurus aegyptiacus, as well, and to a degree even Brachiosaurus altithorax (or they at least made B.altithorax more popular than Apatosaurus or Diplodocus or "Brontosaurus").

hell, I really would like to see a charcardontosaurus and a Acrocanthersaurus in the 4th film. Have them both kill Spinosaurus and/or Tyrannosaurus. And make them the big carnevoirs!
But, for smaller dino's I would have to say Albertosaurus and Utahraptor. Since they can be pretty cool.
