But if they bring back too many returning characters, it will take away from the suspense.(I think bringing back 1 returning character is too many in the case of JP4) It will take away the suspense because you automatically know that every returning character is going to live, and all new characters will be slaughtered. It makes it more predictable in a way. Not only will it make it more predictable, but I think it would be kind of out of place to bring back characters that were in the original, but never returned for a sequel to be brought back to reprise their role 3 films later. Also you have to consider general audience appeal with the characters as well, most audiences probably won't remember Lex and Tim. After all, Jurassic Park was released over a decade ago. They have to make a film that appeals to both long time fans and general audiences.

I'd really like to see both. But if I had to pick one, it'd be Grant. You have to have a dinosaur lover in a dinosaur movie. And I second all the cast returning besides the kids. Kids always ruin movies. I don't think the Kirbys even count as being a part of JP.

I also want them to work in the part in TLW book where Malcolm is hopped up on morphine. I laughed so hard reading the things he said, and I could just imagine Goldblum doing it. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Yeah but honestly Tim & Lex aren't kids anymore. Tim would be 21 & Lex would be 25. Plenty old enough to actually have something to do. Honestly though there is no way Tim & Lex would have major roles. Most likely they would appear near the beginning or at the end. Maybe even at Hammond's funeral if he dies.

You're all forgetting someone: Vince Vaughn.

I would love to see Mr. Van Owen return, then die. I like Nick, but like someone said..most returning cast survive. On the other side of that coin, you can pretty much tell who's gonna survive, anyway. JP3 was pretty decent about that, you couldn't tell who was going to live or not.

I think I would really choose neither Grant nor Malcolm. Grant had to be pretty much dragged kicking and screaming in 3, and Malcolm only went to get Sarah in TLW.

(This kinda reminds me of an episode of Futurama:
"Kirk could kick Picard's ass!
Oh yeah? Well at least Picard could admit he was bald!")

I've been banned more than you can count to.

i dont think Nick belongs in another JP, he is not a strong leading character in my opinion, n he should def not be brought back just so that a returning character dies. I think Lex is perfect for wat everybody wants, her now being 25, and independant would seem like a new character, yet she is a returning character. I want Grant and Malcolm just because if JPIV is the last they need to be there

If one of the kids were to come back, it should be Tim - he was the dino nut, lol.

Yeah but there really needs to be a reason and what would that be, they were both traumatised so why would they want to go back?

Because they loved it really.
While it may appear that they were scared, deep down they were really enjoying the terror and pain.
