I think it starts off cool. But it just gets whackier and whackier.

Dinomerc, he's talking about jpdatabase.net.

I agree with you williv, it just gets whackier and whackier. But I do admire Will Monahan's great effort to set a different tone to the franchise. It's almost like a comic book plot line that's so crazy it just might work. The opening seems a bit predictable though. It's a plot line that I don't know whether it should be tossed in the trash, or put on a fast track release. It's so bizzarre that it makes me curious of how they are going to pull it off.

But then again, it could be just an elaborate rumor to make JP fans scratch their heads, I guess we'll have to wait for an official press release from Universal and Amblin.

I'm sorry, I just can't swallow it. They'd have to be out of their minds. Speilberg said that this was a great idea. Does this seem very Speilberg-esque to you? If I had a choice between this movie or no movie at all, I'm sorry to say it, but I'd rather they let the franchise rest in peace, rather than completely and utterly screw it up. I'm all for returning to Nublar, despite the obvious plot hole (how could Hammond have any idea that the shaving can existed, let alone where it was), but a castle filled with uber-dinosaurs individually named and trained like dogs by the protagonist? There had better be another rewrite before the final movie is produced.

That must be the most idiotic thing I've ever, ever, ever read. OMG!!!! Training dinosaurs, pteranodon attacks in the city, I didn't even bother to read it all /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

Well, even though the plot sounds far fetched, you should at least give it a chance. From reading that review I got the impression that Moriarty was holding back valuable information about the 3rd. act that would probably be another big twist in the already looney plot. That plot sounds so nutty that it seems like JP4 will either be great, or a steaming pile of crap. For now,it's too early to tell.

Even though you may not like the plot from the info given away in that review, you have to admit, it's certainly not predictable.

SPOILERS(but I hope they aint from the REAL JP4)

IMHO, I hate it and I hope it aint true. I like the pteradon attack, I like the idea of wiping out the dinosaurs, I like the idea of hammond sending a team onto the island, but one man? who wakes up in a castle? and gets a job training deinochosaurs (whatever they are called) I hope Archilles, Hector, Perseus, Orestes and Spaticus all burn in hell. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
P.S. Compared to this JP3's plot is deeper than the Titanic.
