after reading the aicn script review i'm not even half concerned about the director. That plot sounds HORRIBLE =( I really hope that wasn't Speilberg's "awesome" idea. I really think what JPIV needs is a good writer, and one writer i might add. We all keep blaming Johnston for JP3 sucking, but I really dont think it was his fault. Too many people tried to write JP3, somewhere it said that the actors had to fill in the gaps themselves. Johnston's Octobery Sky and Jumanji were excellent films, I'm sure if there was a better JP3 script we all might be praising him. So, the real question..Which screenwriter?

this should be a no-brainer: David Koepp

*Rubs eyes*

What? Is someone actually acknowledging the importance of a good writer? (Gasp!)
I thought I was the only one who felt that good writing is more vital than directing.
