Summer here has been unusually cool and rainy. Some people think that this means we're in for a really bad winter. I say bring it on; I didn't get any snow days last year!
Heh, yea, the Day After Tomorrow was a bunch of crap. But fun to watch anyway.

Meh, I don't think there is anything different to any normal year. But then I live in Britain, and we usually have insanely random weather during the spring - autumn months.
The only thing that I have really noticed over the last few years is that we hardly ever get snow during winter... and if we do it's only a light dusting of it. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Eh, I'm getting tired of light snow dustings. I'm ready to get like two feet of snow dumped here! Last February we had one heck of an ice storm that messed up the entire state for two weeks.....HOWEVER, the whole thing missed my town but pillaged every town around us. I have decided that this town is so wretched and awful that even natural disasters avoid it! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Actually... if a polar shift occurred, it could very well be instantaneous. As I said before, its been recorded in the geologic records before and those changes were instantaneous. However, massive weather changes don't seem to coincide with a polar shift...

The first week up here at the college is was stormy weather and cold as hell. The temperature for a week dipped down into the 40-50's .. only now has it gotten back to where it is supposed to be right around the 70-90 degree range that we generally see until early november. Even worse another huge storm system is moving towards Florida I hear.

So it seems that unusual weather conditions aren't just goin' on here, and not even just in the U.S. Interesting. Here in SD it just got hot now that summer is supposed to be over... this is going to be an interesting "winter."

It just got hot here in Michigan as well. Most of the summer was cloudy and cool. (It was around 60-70 degrees all summer) In the last week, however, it has gotten up into the high 80's to the low 90's.
