Here's an idea for recruitment: You could also make flyers and handouts.
The thing is we have to promote onto other conventions first before/if we consider the idea of having our own convention. Since the SG-1 Costuming Unit I'm a member of is going to be down in Columbus that weekend, and some of the people that are interested in it will be there too, I was going to take the opportunity and hand out a bit of information like business cards and flyers for it there and see what interest I can get. I do have an idea in mind for the flyers, but I just haven't worked on anything in Photoshop yet. I won't be able to acquire a fan table unfortunately because I have to help out on the table that's done by the Stargate group I'm in.

Thanks for the quality posts, and it's not dead to everyone. I'm just huge dinosaur enthusiast, JP is just fun.

I do admit it's not entirely dead because it lives on with a few people, but that's why I wanted to get this started. I want to generate more life into it in hopes it can create a friendlier environment for those that are still genuinely interested and were unsure of how to express their interest in the JP franchise. No problem with the quality posts just glad select people showed a positive interest in it. To me it means there are some of the old fans still around that genuinely appreciate the series for what it is. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yup. I'm definatly not shy about being a JP fanatic. I just wish there was some more mature people out there to meet, and not just JP stuff, mostly dinosaur-related things.
