Congrats dude.
When all is said and done and the world is empty how much does it really matter the amount of money you had or what car you drove?

You are my hero. I even decided to start another thread in your honor!

But seriously, good luck with it all and I hope you end up doing everything you want. Unlucky me ended up doing what he SHOULD do rather than what I wanted to.

SO ENVIOUS!

Thanks for starting a thread on me, I am honored, but I must say one thing:

Bah! There is no such thing as a "should" do. There's no wrong way to go about things and as long as you're happy with what you're doin', that's what matters. And sometimes you just gotta do some things. I don't really think there's any reason to envy me at all.

Congrats, man. I'm obviously a little late posting here, but better late than never!
Incidentally, I just earned my BScH in vert palaeo, too, this past April. Did you write a thesis? If so, would you be interested in trading?

It wasn't a thesis really, it was a Senior Research Project, although I was told by several people, including professors I didn't know aside from name, that the work I did was equal to and better than most of the Master's level work that was done. And I would gladly give you a copy, but unfortunately I can't really do anything with it at the moment. The specimen is from Turkey and they're still trying to work out publication rights and such with the people over there. So, unfortunately for now, I can't really do much with it. If things can be worked out though, I definitely plan on submitting it to the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology.

Speaking of which, were you at the last Society of Vertebrate Paleontology Meeting held in Denver last year? I know some of your fabulous artwork was on auction and I put up a message for ya on the message board. I'm assuming you are indeed a member anyway, given that you had stuff on auction.

Oh and congrats to you too man. It was a long tough road, that's for sure. Where'd you get yours at?
