Jurassic Park IV hasn't been delayed because of King Kong. It's been delayed because no one really cares. There aren't many good writers or directors in Hollywood that are willing to risk their careers over it. Plus, from the Studio's standpoint it's risky to invest in a sequel these days. The general public has lost interest because of the over-whelming amount of sequels crapped out in recent years. Besides, the last sequel in a franchise usually makes the least amount of money, and turns the film series into a punch-line.

Yeah, what the person above said, the only reason it's been taking a while is because they've been rewriting scripts, from recent news there supposed to be ready for filming in the summer of 2006 so thats good if true, hopefully this big announcement coming soon which we should expect any day now says something important about the film, we can only hope that this big announcement is official by Universal, anythings possible at this point.
