last time i compared prices it was three times more expensive than in the USA.

There's also the fact he probably goes by liters which isn't nearly as much as a gallo.

its verging on £1 a litre which would be about $2.50 a litre (rough guess)

when I worked it out i took into consideration the fact that we use litres (for some illogical reason) and you use gallons (which aren't the same as British gallons, for some other illogical reason). lol
