Marshal ( whom for those who do not know, or remember, is my lover of 3 years ) had a strong mindset to attend the state college Austin Peay for his degree in Theater and Education ( If acting does not work out, then he can teach other aspiring thespians ).
Well, yesterday we had left early so we could spend time with him, ate breakfast and explored the campus and his dorm room and attended the 'parent/student' classes that informed both parties of what the student would come to expect at Austin Peay; throughout the day, I was on the verge of tears.
I was upset, but I was proud.
After dinner had been paid for, we drove the sleepy student back to his dorm room and said our goodbyes. He hugged his mama and his papa, first, and then it was my turn - It was then, I realized, this hug would be the last one for a long time as there was no promise in weekend visits.
So, I almost made it, but not quite. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" />
Question: Do you let your pride hold you back?
Discuss.
Well, I almost made it . . .

There is no shame in crying. There is only shame in holding it against others.
The only reason I don't cry very often is because there are a few specific things that actually drive me to such an emotional peak. But everyone has their own peaks and should definitely not be ashamed of those either.

And then, when you finally get the damn thing open, it's an pre-built peice of sh*t whale with plastic wheels where his fins should be. Ofcourse, since the folks at Kinder are ignorant pricks, they give you a tiny ass peice of paper with eye-ball stickers for you to paste onto the whale. Oh god, because he was blind before - right?
And when you finally manage to get the tear-drop-sized stickers off, they're so ........ small that you can't even position them on your finger to paste them. And they usually fall off your fingers and down under the car seat before you even get your finger close enough to the plasti-crap-whale-tard anyway.
