I doubt that Spielberg would even produce the next JP film, if there ever is one. Simply because he doesn't care anymore, he did his thing with JP, TLW, and even produced JP3, so I wouldn't be surprised if he felt it was time to move on. You couldn't blame him for it, you'd get pretty bored too working on the 3rd sequel to a movie you did 12 years ago.Dino_Slayer wrote:Spielberg, if anyone, knows what is happening in the production, knowing that he's part of it(not as a director but one of the two main producers).
I just don't get it. What makes Jurassic Park such a horrible and shameful thing that everyone who made the film treat it as some kind of a sin, or a embarrasment? All I'm asking is why? Why? Why make these films when you don't even like them? Is money truly that important to them, more important than the sense of pride of what they've done during these past 12 years? Makes me really ashamed to be a Jurassic Park fan. Even George Lucas showed more respect to his Star Wars movies(perhaps because he had more power over his creation). /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
These movies may be atleast entertaining, but the unacceptable fact is that the people who made them treat these movies like cr@p. All I want is atleast a bit more responsibility.
Universal sucks! /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
As far as most movie-go-ers are concerned, the Jurassic Park franchise can't be stretched any further. So, if they do go ahead and make this movie, they're going to have to go with an idea that takes the franchise in a new direction. I don't think that Spielberg, Michael Crichton, or even David Koepp will come up with a great idea for a 4th film, but I do think a Hollywood new-comer will.
Dinoslayer, you really shouldn't let this get to you. There are so many movies stuck in development hell that aren't completed until 5, 10, sometimes even 20 years after they're announced. Just take Alien vs. Predator for example, that film was supposed to start production in 1992.
