I was thinking about how in the JP and TLW original novels, there was a mid-sized carnivore with a strange ability that amazes the reader at first read. In a hypothetical 'JP3' Crichton novel, what would be the next 'Crichton Mutant'? I'm putting a good answer to use for a reason I shall reveal in the near future. !

I dunno, maybe Ceratosaurus, Albertosaurus, Abelisaurus, Majungatholis, maybe even a JP-ized Deinocheirus. Perhaps one of those but with an added ability.

Yeah, though if they added a Deinocheirus, some people would think of them as another speices of raptor. Lets face it, a lot of people in general wouldn't be able to tell the difference bewteen SOME dinos right. You gotta be a dinosaur-fan to be able to... /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Hmm, yeah. JP has always at least ONE new Dino to add... hmmm, so what other dinos are there that could add to the unusal list....:
Hmm, Megalosaurus would be interesting to see. Though, we still don't know much about the creature as a whole complete skeleton hasn't been found. I think...
Um..., an Oviraptor would be nice, I guess...
Along more of the weirdier ones, how about Riojasaurus, Troodon and... Ooooo, how about Archaeopteryx!!?! Never seen one of those in a film before!!

Well, lets see... most of unusual 'features' that the unusal dinos of JP have been adapted from today's reptiles right?
eg: Spitter = Frilled neck lizard + Spitting Cobra
Cartonaur = Charmelon (ehh, I'm a bad speller)
Now, what can this new unusal Dinosaur have that would be more AMAZING that the other two, and yet deadly and scary...? Right now, I'm a bit blank... but one that I did come up with is the Komodo Dragon's deadly spit type thing..., which I guess would be helpful to a dinosaur...
