It's just a joke. Come one, ninja dilos that spit out poison shurikens!
Dilos could of very easily killed by clawing or kicking prey. You know, disembowling them with there hands or legs. This is of course only my speculation and isn't backed up by any scientific rescources at all.

The thing people forget about the Dilophosaurus is that it was the biggest and most powerful theropod of the Early Jurassic. It didn't need powerful jaws, because the majority of its prey items were half its size (and like the massive Sauropods of the Late Jurassic, the early basal Sauropods and lingering Prosauropods that existed during the Early Jurassic likely didn't have any natural predators when fully grown). The jaw strength it had was sufficient, especially if it had pounced and tackled its prey first, as modern cougars and other big cats do.
Granted, it is possible that it may have had a putrid, bacteria-laden mouth as modern Komodo Dragons do, but as for actual venom, either spitting it or administrating it with a bite, I personally find that highly doubtful.
