jp,tlw,jp3 dino sounds

Was it the original DNA manipulated Jurassic Park, the return of inGen in The Lost-World, or just the worth-wild running around frantically Jurassic Park III that captured your imagination.

Well the only comment I can make is that the T-Rex's roar is one of the greatest & most instantly recognizable sound effects in movie history. Second only to Godzilla's roar.

The godzilla roar is rather high pitched in my opinion.

Anyone else ever notice just how often the tyrannosaur roar is used in other movies or television shows? Just the other day I was watching the Fairly Oddparents and I noticed it on there.
One would think that'd be blatantly illegal.

I know. Same thing as Godzilla's roar. Almost every electronic dinosaur created has Godzilla's roar. Hell even the JP electronic Baryonyx has Godzilla's roar. The T-Rexes roar is used in a whole slew of TV shows too. Most notably What's New Scooby Doo, Megas XLR, and even Jackie Chan Adventures.

No biggie, I also really like the rexy's roar very influencing if you ask me and why not use it, everyone knows where it's from.
When all is said and done and the world is empty how much does it really matter the amount of money you had or what car you drove?

ahh...i love the Rex roar...but i can't help but be annoyed by the overuse of it in other places. i think the first time i really gave any notice to it was when i heard it come from the beetle in "A Bug's Life." that really annoyed me and i realized how much it's used everywhere.

the thing is, sure, WE know where it's from, but what about the kids who see these other things first, and then go see Jurassic Park and start sayin, "oo it's the beetle from a bug's life!!!" or "hey they stole the sound from my favorite cartoon!!!"

anyway, that sound has always given me chills, and i got a special feeling of pride when i heard the roar of my first bred Tyrannosaurus Rex in my Operation Genesis park...ah yes...that roar's got some memories....
